Built in 1923 as a grand bank, the building was extensively renovated with many original features restored in 1998 to create this hotel which has recently undergone refurbishment in February 2008. The hotel comprises 9 en-suite bedrooms of a 3-star standard, each one individually designed to reflect the work and lives of a famous Scot. The rooms are arranged over the three floors and accessed via the original staircase. Included in all our rooms are a self-lockable safe, iPod dock with ceiling in-built speakers, bathroom controllable speaker system and full tea and coffee making facilities which come with Scottish delicacies. All bedrooms also come with GHD hair straighteners as standard, large flat screen TV, iron with iron board and working desk area and complimentary Wi-Fi. We host an extensive selection of Scottish whisky hand selected from the Islands, Highlands, Lowlands and Speyside.
